Stephens County had a great first campaign under first-year coach Thomas Flowers. The Indians rolled up six wins and made the second round of state for the fifth straight season. In what was supposed to be a rebuilding year (and it did have some bumps along the way), the new guys improved greatly throughout. Now, they’re even better, and there’s been a heavy emphasis on the weight room that’s got the Indians bigger, faster, and stronger.

Head Coach: Thomas Flowers (2nd Season)
2025 Record: 6-6; Region 3rd; State Rnd 2
“One of our main goals this season is to get a little bit better every day,” says Flowers.

2026 SCHEDULE – STEPHENS COUNTY

PERSONNEL & SCHEMES
Key Departures: Davon Swinton, Kymani Colbert, Conner Holtzclaw, Luke Sosebee, Luke Waters
Returning Starters: 10 on offense; 5 on defense
Key Returning Players: Morris Perkins, Duke Collins, Zoonk Patterson, Isaiah Arthur, Dallas Hague, Peyton Feaster, Jasiah Wiley, Ashton Winters, Kaiden Harbin
Up & Coming Players: Langston Brooks (SO – transfer from Franklin), will be an OL contributor. Tyson Blackwell (JR TE) will get time as well. Macade Huff (JR – transfer from Banks) will play WR as an athletic, tall receiver. Peanut Arthur and Kaiden Harbin (both SO) will earn significant playing time this year. Both play multiple positions on offense and defense.
Offense: Spread
Branson Stowe enters as a 2nd-year starter now in his junior year. He’ll be the featured QB, with Jasiah Wiley, Dallas Hague, and Ashton Winters all sharing totes in the backfield. At WR, look for Duke Collins to be the go-to option. Another dark horse guy that will get on the field somehow will be Kaiden Harbin.
Defense: 3-4
Look for LBs Morris Perkins, Peyton Feaster, and Admad Ivey to get their names called quite a bit. The secondary is also loaded, with Zoonk Paterson, Duke Collins, and Isaiah Arthur are anchoring that part of the field.
Trenches: “We have a brand new offensive line that we are trying to develop and get better every day. Our defensive line will have three returning starters, but we hope there will be some young talent that can challenge them for playing time.”

STRENGTHS & AREAS OF FOCUS
Strengths: “We are less top-heavy than we’ve ever been. We have a lot of guys that have bought into the process and have given us way more competition than we’ve ever had.”
Focusing On: “We’ve put a huge emphasis on our strength and speed program here at Stephens County. We have obsessed over their numbers in the weight room and their MPH on the field.”
