BLITZ Player of the Year Awards are given to the top athletes in their respective sports. Our voting panel combs through the list of nominations from coaches and, after coming up with a finalist pool from that group, votes for the player of the year. The voting panel consists of sports media members across Northeast Georgia, as well as GHSA officials, sports video producers, former players and more. Our Player of the Year Awards are presented by John Megel Ford, Stockton & Stockton LLC, Habersham EMC, Crump Photo, Bob & Ted’s Trophy, and Bagwell Insurance.
