Each week throughout the school year, we recognize the teams who we feel stood out the most. Teams of the Week are presented by Cofield Outdoors!

FOOTBALL – TOWNS COUNTY INDIANS

The Indians set a school record with a 61-point outburst, and it’s the only time they have ever scored in the 60s. It’s the first 50-plus point game for the program since 2018 – which was 55 also against Hayesville. The previous Towns County record was 56 against Lakeview in 2017. Alex Baert set a school record with 306 rush yards and tallied five TDs. The 547 team total yards is a record as well.
