MAVERICK CHITWOOD

The best to ever suit up for the Raiders on the diamond is Maverick Chitwood – easy! He had a knack for coming up CLUTCH in the playoffs when it mattered most. The pitcher/outfielder posted 21 wins with a low ERA of 3.05, striking out 169 batters in 203.3 innings of work (starting 35 games). He pitched in 48 total, and picked off an unreal 42 baserunners with a slick lefty move. ASHTON ROACHE

Ashton Roache shattered just about every record at Tallulah Falls. The infielder is perhaps one of the best raw talents we’ve seen in the BLITZ area. He helped the Indians to a State Runner-Up run as a sophomore, and only got better from there. He closed his career with a .382 average, and his final stats that are all-time marks include: homeruns (14), RBI (86), runs (135), doubles (33), triples (7), stolen bases (92), walks (69), and hit by pitches (45) – all school records! He own several single-season and single-game records also, and is a 3-time All-State selection and 3-time All-Region as well. He is set to take his talent to the University of California.
