The BLITZ Baseball Player of the Week is Chase Pollock (Tallulah Falls).

CHASE POLLOCK – TALLULAH FALLS

Junior pitcher Chase Pollock has been unbelievable in the postseason for TFS. In a Sweet 16 tough-luck loss and an absolute gem in the opening game of the Elite 8, he’s 1-1 with a sparkling 0.54 ERA and 14 strikeouts in 13 innings of work. The Elite 8 victory included a complete game win with four hits and one walk against eight strikeouts. This is his second POW award.
