Gebora, White Co’s 4×100 Relay claim Athlete of the Week awards
The BLITZ Fan Vote for Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Week was Connor Gebora (Habersham Central) after taking 7,329 of the 12,397 total votes. BLITZ then named White County’s 4×100 Relay as Co-POW.

Habersham Central sophomore Connor Gebora qualified for state with a 4:32.52 time in the 1600, placing 5th at the Sectionals event. This is Gebora’s first POW award.

BOYS 4X100 RELAY – WHITE COUNTY
SPEED! The White County track and field program has plenty of it. The 4×100 Relay is particularly special. A 1st-place finish at Sectionals (after winning the Region Championship the week prior), the quartet of sophomore Tripp Nix, senior Sean Hughes, and juniors Cam Wilson and Caysen Duvall can be considered legitimate contenders for the upcoming State Championship. They crossed the line at 42.89!
