SETH GILLIS – TOWNS COUNTY

In a 3-game series win over Chattahoochee County in the Sweet 16, the Indians were led by Seth Gillis. The senior shortstop/pitcher went 4-for-10 (batting .400), adding 2 RBI, 3 runs, and 2 stolen bases to go with 4 walks. With the team down in the top of the 2nd, 6-1, he pitched 6 innings, allowing only 2 hits, 2 walks, and one unearned run. He racked up 6 strikeouts in the process, picking up the win as the Indians stormed back. This is Gillis’ first POW award.

TANNER CUNNINGHAM – TOWNS COUNTY

Tanner Cunningham had a great series against Chattahoochee County as well. The Indians’ junior outfielder went 4-for-7 at the dish, batting .571. He had 3 RBI and 3 runs scored, adding a double and a walk. This is his second career POW award.
