The BLITZ Boys Soccer Player of the Week Fan Vote winner was Jake Wehrstein (Tallulah Falls) with 201 of the 510 total votes. BLITZ then named Benton Gregory (Union County) as Co-POW.
JAKE WEHRSTEIN – TALLULAH FALLS
Jake Wehrstein once again played air-tight defense in Tallulah Falls’ 4-0 win the team’s first-ever playoff win, advancing the Indians to the Sweet 16. The junior defender also tallied a goal in the victory, earning his second POW award in the process. Wehrstein is the 100th Tallulah Falls POW in BLITZ history.
