Huff, Sullens, Tanner earn Player of the Week honors
The BLITZ Fan Vote for Football Player of the Week saw 15,595 votes come in, with Jacari Huff (Commerce) taking the most at 8,453. BLITZ then named both Mason Sullens (Lumpkin) and Caiden Tanner (Union) as Co-POWs.
JACARI HUFF – COMMERCE
Jacari Huff was unstoppable for the Tigers in their win over #9 Social Circle last week. The sophomore racked up 49 rushing yds and a TD, had 2 tackles, an interception, and a scoop-and-score fumble recovery for a TD. This is Huff’s first POW award.

MASON SULLENS – LUMPKIN COUNTY
Junior Mason Sullens has been deserving of this honor all season long. He finally gets POW honors after an elite performance at #9 Gilmer, in which the power back tallied 205 rushing yards and 3 TD for the Indians in their statement win. He averaged 6.4 yards per tote, and added 66 kick return yards for a ridiculous 271 total yards.

CAIDEN TANNER – UNION COUNTY
Caiden Tanner put on a clinic in Union County’s win at Banks County in Week Eight. The junior signal-caller totaled 5 TDs and 229 yards. He threw for 217 and 2 TD, and rushed for 12 and 3 scores. This is Tanner’s first POW award.
