Dooley, Powell take weekly honors for volleyball
The BLITZ Fan Vote for Volleyball Player of the Week saw 8,384 votes come in, with Amayah Dooley (Habersham Central) taking the most at 3,525. BLITZ then named Morgan Powell (Lumpkin County) as Co-POW.
AMAYAH DOOLEY – HABERSHAM CENTRAL
Amayah Dooley led the Lady Raiders to a solid week across 4 matches. The junior libero had 34 digs, and registered a 95% at serve, and had only 3 errors in 44 serve receive attempts. This is Dooley’s first POW award. Dooley is the 400th junior in any sport to win POW honors.
