GHSFD/AJC names five to All-State teams

Georgia High School Football Daily and the AJC has released its All-State teams, by classification over the past several days. With the releases, a handful of local talents earned the honors.
ALL-STATE

Those who made the list included Jefferson’s Sammy Brown, named as an Athlete on the offensive side for Class 5A. Arguably, Brown could very well be All-State on both sides of the ball. In Class 3A, Stephens County’s Cam Lacy earned All-State recognition as a DB, although like Brown, could and probably should have been included as a WR as well or otherwise.
In Class 1A Division 1, Keegan Stover was named All-State at QB, and so was teammate Jaden Gibson at WR. Commerce stud RB Jaiden Daniels was also named All-State.
TOP-10 by POSITION
Along with All-State teams, GHSFD has been rolling out its Top 10 players per position group. Of those, Rabun County’s Keegan Stover was named a top-10 QB. Teammate and fellow senior from Rabun County Jaden Gibson was included in the WR group as a Top-10 wideout in Georgia. Sammy Brown of Jefferson was then named a Top-10 on the Athletes list, again having been a great candidate for both RB and LB.
