The BLITZ Boys Basketball Player of the Week Fan Vote collected 10,962 total votes, with Union County’s Austin Taylor taking 4,124 to win the POW Fan Vote. BLITZ then named Lumpkin County’s Jones Harris Co-POW.

JONES HARRIS – BLITZ PICK

Jones Harris has been a cheat code this season. The senior guard has led a young Lumpkin County team, and has done things the right way. The standout Indians hoopster averaged 19.5 points, 8 boards, and 4 assists across 2 games played last week. ALSO…he collected his 1,000th career point, which makes him the first since Zach Pulley to do it for the Lumpkin County Indians. This is his first POW award this season and 3rd of his career.
