Guards Yeh, Oakes take Boys Hoops POW awards
The BLITZ Boys Basketball Player of the Week Fan Vote collected 4,061 total votes, with White County’s Jadon Yeh taking 1,832 to win the POW Fan Vote. BLITZ then named Towns County’s Kyle Oakes Co-POW.

Jadon Yeh gets his second POW award of the season, and third of his career, after a stellar week last week in 3 games played for the Warriors. The junior guard averaged 22 points, 6.7 boards, 2.3 helpers, and 1.3 steals per game, as well as 1 block per contest. He shot 44% from deep and 86% at the charity stripe.

KYLE OAKES – BLITZ PICK
Towns County senior Kyle Oakes continues to have an impressive season. The guard led the Indians to the Battle of the States Championship, averaging 15.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 2 steals across 3 games in the tournament. This is Oakes’ second POW award this season (the other in football), and third of his career.
