Lumpkin County’s Kate Jackson is off to a great first half after missing all of last season. The Lady Indians junior forward notched a 13-point, 11-rebound double-double last week and added 3 steals for #1 Lumpkin. This is Jackson’s second career POW award.

LUCY HOOD – BLITZ PICK

Sophomore sensation Lucy Hood had an unreal buzzer-beater last week for the powerhouse Lady Cats. The guard, who averaged 15.5 points over 2 games, and hit the buzzer-beater in a win from about halfcourt to give Rabun a victory over Cherokee Bluff, 72-71. This is Hood’s third career POW award.
