VERONAYE CHARLTON – FAN VOTE

Tallulah Falls’ standout guard Veronaye Charlton is picking up right where she left off. The junior averaged 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists per game over the first two games (including a scrimmage) for TFS. This is Charlton’s second-ever POW award.

CONNOR MCKAY – BLITZ PICK

Connor McKay is one of the early favorites for BLITZ Player of the Year. With the talent he has, and barring any injuries, he should put up ridiculous numbers this season. The senior guard, who recently committed to Lander University, dropped 34 points, 10 rebounds, and 7 assists in his season-opening game for the Wildcats. He added 2 blocks and drilled 4 triples. This is McKay’s 6th career POW award, making him one of only 9 athletes in BLITZ history to capture this many weekly awards.
