The last Player of the Week award winners from softball for 2026 are Jenna Rapp and Finley Jordan for Jefferson.

JENNA RAPP – JEFFERSON

This feels like it’s a fairy tale, but it’s very much real. Jenna Rapp, the 2-time BLITZ POY who is a heavy favorite to 3-peat, hit .462 with two homers, 14 RBI, and four stolen bases in Columbus, leading the Lady Dragons their first-ever State Championship. The senior shortstop blasted two grand slams, both to end the semifinals on a walk-off, getting Jefferson to the title game. She then finished her high school career with another walk-off grand slam in the championship game, triggering the run rule. And if it couldn’t get any more dramatic, her first grand slam tied the single-season state homerun record, and her final at-bat grand slam set a new single-season GHSA record with 25 homeruns on the season. Her 58 career HR is also a new state record, surpassing Kendall Wells’ 55. Rapp was named the GHSA AAAAA MVP, and earns her sixth career BLITZ POW award.

FINLEY JORDAN – JEFFERSON

Freshman phenom Finley Jordan was clutch for the Lady Dragons, winning three games in Columbus to the tune of a 2.00 ERA and 30 strikeouts against the best hitters in the state. Jordan pitched 21 Innings, allowing just 14 hits and seven walks, and even threw a no-hitter in one of her four starts. This is her first of many POW awards.
