The Player of the Week Fan Vote for Boys Basketball Player of the Week tallied 34,050 votes, with Towns County’s Kabe Ellis tallying 16,571 to edge out Lumpkin County’s Jones Harris (11,709). BLITZ then picked Habersham Central’s Malachi Dooley as Co-POW.

MALACHI DOOLEY – BLITZ PICK

Habersham Central standout guard Malachi Dooley has been making noise for quite some time. He’s a special talent, and the junior guard showed out last week in 3 games for the Raiders. He averaged 20 points, 6 boards, over 5 assists, and 2 steals per game over that span. This is Dooley’s second POW award of his career.
