Rabun O-Line, Habersham’s Wade named Habersham EMC Linemen of the Week

Brand New for 2020 – the Habersham EMC Linemen of the Week. Long have people asked for the guys who do the dirty work to get more recognition. Now, they do. Each week in the 2020 season, we will recognize an offensive lineman (or the full line as it is often a joint effort), and a defensive lineman, sponsored by Habersham EMC.

This week’s winners are the entire O-Line for Rabun County, and for D-Line, Tanner Wade of Habersham Central.

The entire Rabun County O-Line deserves the nod this week after a big-time showing at #8 Bremen. In a shootout, 48-34, the Wildcats front line paved the way to 48 points of offense and 520 yards, and allowed only two negative-yardage plays from scrimmage. The line consists of Nolan Crane (JR), Chris Thompson (JR), Clayton Dixon (JR), Bear Old (JR), and Will McCraw (JR).

OTHERS WHO STOOD OUT: Towns County’s O-Line, Commerce’s O-Line, Jefferson’s O-Line, Stephens County’s William Rudeseal, White County’s JD Trowell, Banks County’s Ben Carlan
