We got a full week in for local softball! That’s a BIG win these days. Let’s hope it continues. Here is a rundown of all the locals and known results so far this season.
BANKS COUNTY

The brand new Lady Leopards volleyball program is winless so far, but not for a lack of effort. Losses to West Hall, Jackson, Gainesville, and North Hall have all been in straight sets.
COMMERCE

STATE RANK: N/A
The Lady Tigers also are brand new and looking to win their first set. They have dropped games to Franklin and Madison County.

DAWSON COUNTY
RECORD: 1-2 (0-0)
STATE RANK: #7
The Lady Tigers played bigger schools, and lost to both West Forsyth and Duluth, but picked up a win over Johnson. The program is ranked #7.
HABERSHAM CENTRAL
RECORD: 2-1 (0-0)
STATE RANK: N/A
The Lady Raiders are off to a solid 2-1 start, beating Union and dropping one to Lumpkin, and opened the season with a win over Stephens.
JEFFERSON
RECORD: 3-0 (0-0)
STATE RANK: #3
Jefferson is showing the worth of the #3 ranking. That came after wins over Gainesville, Cherokee Bluff, and Lanier Christian Academy.

LUMPKIN COUNTY

Got to like what you’re seeing from Lumpkin. A huge win over Tallulah Falls, and beating Habersham and Union while dropping one to North Forsyth.
RABUN COUNTY

Rabun is ranked again, and notched a win over East Hall and a loss to North Hall.
STEPHENS COUNTY

Stephens County fell to Habersham in one match.
TALLULAH FALLS

STATE RANK: N/A
Tallulah Falls School dropped a heart-breaker to Lumpkin after leading after the first set. But the prior game was the opposite as the Lady Indians stole a win from Flowery Branch. They fell in the opener to North Forsyth.

UNION COUNTY

The Lady Panthers went 0-2 to start, with losses to Lumpkin and Habersham, but are currently ranked #10.
WHITE COUNTY
