Jefferson & Commerce boys claim state titles; 13 individuals stand atop podium


Jefferson and Commerce boys track and field teams made the most of the GHSA State Championships, taking the top spot overall in their respective classifications. 13 individual athletes finished as the best in the state as well, 8 of which came from Jefferson.
Jefferson’s girls put up a solid performance, resulting in a 3rd-place finish as a team. Banks boys also placed 3rd. Here are the final team standings for our locals:
