Commerce sophomore guards win POW, Dawson’s Sticker & Rabun’s Old also

After 31,919 total votes, a pair of Commerce hoopsters nabbed Player of the Week honors. Creed Dunbar (6,933) and Bryanna Sanders (6,736) were the top boy and girl voting recipients, thus winning the Fan Votes. BLITZ then chose Kasin Old (Rabun) and Kaylee Sticker (Dawson) as co-Players of the Week.
CREED DUNBAR

The Commerce Tigers are young and haven’t put together the win-loss record they’d like. However, they have some bright spots, including sophomore guard Creed Dunbar.
Dunbar averaged 18.3 points per contest in the last week over a three-game stretch, including a career-high 24 points in a loss to Tallulah Falls. He had 16 in the loss to Towns County and 15 in a win over Athens Christian.

BRYANNA SANDERS

Commerce’s sophomore guard Bryanna Sanders had a breakout year last season as a freshman, and she’s improved even more this season. In the last three contests, Sanders has averaged 18.5 points per game.
She had 18 against Hebron Christian in a win and then 19 in a win over Tallulah Falls.

KASIN OLD

Kasin Old is long overdue for a Player of the Week award, as he’s been shooting the lights out this season for the Wildcats. The senior guard has put up some ridiculous numbers as of late – 21 points, 13.5 boards, 3 steals, and 3 assists per game over the last two.
KAYLEE STICKER

Clemson signee Kaylee Sticker continues to show why she’s an all-state, region player of the year, D-I prospect. In the last three games, all wins for the #8-ranked Lady Tigers, she’s really turned it up a notch.
The guard/forward averaged 22.7 points, 10 rebounds, and 4.7 assists over the past three games, including a 27-point performance against North Hall. Her totals included a pair of double-doubles. Sticker collects her second Player of the Week award this season.
