
The Dawson County Lady Tigers trailed briefly Tuesday night at East Hall after the first quarter, but Kaylee Sticker and company came out with a 62-53 win.
The Lady Tigers, ranked #8 in Class 3A, picked up a region win to move to 4-2 in 7-AAA and 12-6 overall. Sticker led Dawson with 17 points, Mariah Benson had 14, and Madison Anglin had 10 as three girls reached double figures.

East Hall led 21-20 after the first, but Benson scored six of the next 11 for Dawson to stretch the lead to 33-27 at the break. The third quarter proved slow going for both offenses, which both collected just 11 points. Dawson outscored East Hall 18-15 in the final stanza to claim the win.
