The Panthers turn a new leaf, as they send coach Corey Garrett to head up the girls team with immediate state championship expectations and the #1 preseason ranking. The boys are two years removed now from their State Runner-Up finish, and last year was a difficult one that netted just 10 wins. The top overall player from that team is also gone, so this is a clean slate for Union County.

From BLITZ: There is so little known about this team right now, we’re not doing justice throwing out any predictions or outlook. However, bringing in a State Championship caliber coach means the expectations for the program remain high. It might take time to get there, but look for this to be a foundational year for the Panthers.
