Two quarterbacks were named BLITZ Players of the Week in Brinn Robinson (White County) and Boone Horn (Jefferson). Robinson wins the Fan Vote after taking 2,492 of the 2,711 total votes. Horn was the BLITZ Pick.
BRINN ROBINSON – WHITE COUNTY
Junior Brinn Robinson was under pressure all game long for White County in their win over East Jackson. He never wavered, passing for 147 yards and 2 TD, including throwing the game-winner with 6:14 left in the game to complete a comeback. This is his second POW award.
BOONE HORN – JEFFERSON
Boone Horn has been leading a Jefferson offense that has passed far more than it has in the last several years. Horn found his way to over 200 yards passing, tossing 3 TDs in the big Dragons’ win over Jackson Maynard. This is his first POW award.
