For eight straight years, Union County has been a playoff team. In fact, going back to 2006, the Lady Panthers have only missed out on the postseason twice. With last year’s Sweet 16, Union has made it at least that far in the past five seasons. With one of the area’s top talents in Izzy Anthros, new coach Casey Lusk hopes to take them even further!

“A major boost for this season will be adding both Addison and Stella back into the pitching rotation alongside Izzy,” adds Lusk. “Offensively, Izzy and Addison have been swinging the bat extremely well, each recording multiple home runs during each of their travel ball tournaments this summer.”

Strengths: “Pitching and hitting,” states Lusk. “This group has the potential to be one of our strongest offensive teams in recent years, while also featuring a deep pitching staff. Several players who were behind a senior class last season are now stepping into larger roles, and they are passionate about the game, they live and breathe softball.”
