Union County 49, Towns County 7
The Panthers were up 14-0 before Towns County even got a snap on offense. Braylen Rader got the scoring started with a 3-yd TD, then after the ensuing kick was fumbled, Caiden Tanner connected with Tyler Grasty on a 12-yd TD. Tanner also had a 35-yd TD to Cade Dockery, a 10-yd TD to Rader, and another 3-yd TD to Grasty all in the first quarter as Union held a 35-0 lead. Rader added a rushing TD early in the second, and before the half Tanner found Connor Schuknecht for a TD. Connor Chastain threw a late TD on 4th & Goal to Morgan Walker.
North Hall 40, Dawson County 7
Dawson County got blasted by the Trojans, though Davis Glass had the lone TD with a 4-yd run as the Tigers continue to search for that first win. It was only a 2-0 North Hall lead at the end of the first.
#5 Jefferson 42, St. Pius X 0
Jefferson got going early when Gavin Markey found Rodney Hinton for a 55-yd TD. Sammy Brown had a 7-yd TD later in the quarter, and he added a 4-yd score early in the second to push the lead up to 21-0. Markey found Zay Minish for a 7-yd TD later in the second, and then found Christopher Law for a 25-yd TD. That had the Dragons up 35-0 at the break, and they won 42-0. Travis Noland collected his 200th career win in the process!

#3 Stephens County 32, #9 Flowery Branch 7
The Indians rolled through Flowery Branch by a 32-7 final to remain unbeaten. FB had scored first, but Stephens scored the final 32 points. Javin Gordon had a 33-yd TD, and Luke Waters later hit a 37-yd FG for the 10-7 lead. Waters would then hit a 31-yd FG late in the half for the 20-7 lead, coming after Gordon’s second TD run of the contest. In the third, Davon Swinton had a 75-yd pick six. Omari Feaster had a 40-yd TD to cap the scoring.
#8 Hebron Christian 31, Commerce 21
The Tigers battled hard, but fell to #8 Hebron Christian. Commerce struck first on a Tysean Wiggins TD on the opening drive, using a 4th-down conversion by Jaiden Daniels. Hebron retaliated before the half, but missed the extra point to trail 7-6 going into the break. Wiggins had 99 rushing yards by the half. A quick TD and 2-point conversion in the third had Hebron up 14-7, but Commerce answered when Wiggins had a 44-yd TD run. The Tigers held the Lions to a field goal midway throught the third, giving Hebron Christian a 17-14 lead. Commerce shocked the whole stadium when JP Allen connected on a 38-yd TD pass to Mac Mullis to go up 21-17 just before the end of the third. An 80-yd TD by Hebron on the next play from scrimmage pushed them back up 24-21. They added to it with a wildcat TD to go up 31-21.

#4 Rabun County 35, #9 Adairsville 20
Rabun County bounced back with a big win over Adairsville. Ty Truelove hit Jarret Giles for a 5-yd TD in the first after the Cats fell behind 7-0. Adairsville struck again and took a 14-7 lead, but Truelove hit Willie Goodwyn on a bubble screen, and he went 70 yards for the tying score in the second. That held to the break. In the third, Goodwyn struck again for Rabun on a flee flicker, as Truelove threw across to Reid Giles, who slung it to a wide-open Goodwyn for the 72-yd score. Things got tight in the fourth when Adairsville appeared to tie the contest, but missed the extra point. When the Cats needed it the most, Reid Giles got a rushing score to give some breathing room at 28-20. Adairsville got inside the red zone before the Wildcats made a big stop. Then, with 1:13 to go, another screen to Goodwyn resulted in an 88-yd TD to put the game away.

Lumpkin County 46, Franklin County 7
Cal Faulkner put on a show! He started the game with a short TD run and the 6-0 lead. Midway through the first, Sullens had a 6-yd TD. Franklin County responded to cut it to 13-7. Sullens had a 4-yd TD just before the first quarter ended to pad the lead to 20-7. Sullens added his third TD of the night in the second quarter, then Faulkner threw a TD to Luke Evans from 25 ticks out. Faulkner again threw a TD, this time to Colton Lee, good from 10 yards out for a 40-7 lead late in the half. With a running clock and starters out, Jackson Bell got a rushing score to cap it at 46-7.
White County 52, Chestatee 7
Chestatee scored first, but the Warriors dominated from there. In the first, Tripp Nix found pay dirt from a yard out. Isaiah Whitlow had a scoop-n-score TD later in the quarter to take the lead at 14-7. Early in the second, Nix had another 1-yd TD run, and his 15-yd TD pass to Ryan Fowler with 3:22 left in the half made it a 28-7 game. With just 34 seconds left in the half, Nix hit Von Dre Nelson with a 44-yd TD and the 35-7 lead. Cam Wilson then opened the second half with a bang on a 95-yd TD on the kickoff. Hayden Vandegriff notched a 31-yd FG midway through the third. Noel Lammers had a 1-yd TD in the fourth to cap the scoring. The 50-plus point output was the 14th time in school history for the Warriors, and 5 of those have come against Chestatee.
