The BLITZ Soccer Player of the Week Fan Vote collected 11,760 total votes, with Elizabeth Edwards (Towns County) taking 6,392 to win the POW Fan Vote. BLITZ then named Chloe Diaz (Commerce) as Co-POW.

ELIZABETH EDWARDS – FAN VOTE

Elizabeth Edwards earns her first POW award after a solid effort by the sophomore defender in Towns County’s win last week. She notched an assist, but it was her defense along with the entire back four of Edwards, Rylie Livingston, Gali Quijada, and Alana Stowers that truly were amazing.

CHLOE DIAZ – BLITZ PICK

Commerce has yet another 100-goal scorer in Chloe Diaz. The junior midfielder notched a hat trick in a playoff win last week for the Lady Tigers, giving her 100 career goals and joining her with sophomore Ivy Tolbert (who has 100 on the season and counting). This is Diaz’s third career POW award.
