DENIKA LIGHTBOURNE – FAN VOTE

Denika Lightbourne came up huge for Tallulah Falls, guiding the Lady Indians into the Elite 8 by averaging 17 points, 5 steals, and 3.5 assists per game last week in 2 playoff games. The junior guard should eclipse 1,000 career points next season in the first or second game, and earns her 3rd POW award this season and 6th of her career.

LEXI PIERCE – BLITZ PICK

Junior guard Lexi Pierce is at it again. This marks her 4th POW award of the season and 6th of her career. The Lumpkin County sharp-shooter averaged 24.5 points, 5 assists, and 2.5 steals in 2 playoff games last week for the #1-ranked Lady Indians. She splashed 9 3-pointers, and converted an incredible 6-point play (about unheard of), and had a 9-point possession in the Sweet 16. Pierce hit a 3-pointer, and a flagrant foul meant she got one after the shot and 2 more after. She made them all for the 6-point play, then with Lumpkin getting the ball back, she drained a 3 from the other side. 9 points on one possession!

CARLEY HABAN – BLITZ PICK

Senior guard Carley Haban is the ultimate team player for Rabun County. The guard helped guide the #1-ranked Lady Wildcats in a pair of playoff wins last week to reach the Elite 8. She tallied 16.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 steals along the way. This is her 2nd POW award of her career.
