LEXI PIERCE – FAN VOTE

Lumpkin County’s Lexi Pierce wins her third POW award of the season, and second in as many weeks. The junior guard averaged 17 points, 7 steals, 6.5 boards, 5 assists, and 3.5 deflections in a pair of Lady Indians’ wins last week. She has been instrumental to the success of the #1 team in the state. This is her 5th career POW award, putting her in elite territory.

AVA HUNTER – BLITZ PICK

Senior Ava Hunter continues her dominant march through Region 8-AA. The Union County senior forward went off with 2 double-doubles last week, averaging an eye-popping 24.5 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. This is her 2nd POW award of the season and 4th of her career.
