Habersham EMC Linemen of the Week: Turner Grimmett / Carson Woodward

Brand New for 2020 – the Habersham EMC Linemen of the Week. Long have people asked for the guys who do the dirty work to get more recognition. Now, they do. Each week in the 2020 season, we will recognize an offensive lineman (or the full line as it is often a joint effort), and a defensive lineman, sponsored by Habersham EMC.
This week’s winners are Turner Grimmett (Rabun County) for the O-Line, and Carson Woodward (Jefferson) for the D-Line.

TURNER GRIMMETT – RABUN

Junior Turner Grimmett primarily blocks on the O-Line, and did so for his entire time on the field during the quarterfinals win over Bleckley County. The two-way player graded out at 91%, and helped the Wildcat offense secure 415 yards in total. AND on the flip side of the ball, he had 12 tackles and 1 for loss at the LB position.
OTHERS WHO STOOD OUT: Dylan Ryoul (Jefferson JR; 95%, 229 yds offense)
