BLITZ HOF 2020: Girls Soccer

Hope Kenney is one of the best to ever play in Northeast Georgia. Period! If not for COVID wrecking her senior year…can you imagine her final stat line? Instead, she settles for 96 career goals and 23 career assists (215 points)…still insane. The Lumpkin County forward demolished the school single-season goals record, scoring 33 as a junior. She had 26 as a freshman, 17 as a sophomore, 33 as a junior, and 20 as a senior despite losing half the season. Kenney goes on to play at Truett McConnell University. Kenney is a two-time BLITZ Player of the Year and a multi All-State player, as well as two-time Region Player of the Year. (4,688 VOTES)

Bella Ramey had so much upside, but we never saw the full picture since she had multiple ACL tears that derailed half her career. Still, when healthy, she had 45 goals and 18 assists (108 points), including going for 24/9 as a sophomore for the Lady Warriors. (3,719 VOTES)

Margo Perry had a stellar career between the pipes for Jefferson, holding a 1.50 goals against average, with more than 50 saves and 20-plus shutouts. Perry was a mainstay for the Lady Dragons, leading them to deep playoff runs in her time there. Her 0.55 GAA as a junior is the best in school history. (869 VOTES)

Camryn Carter was a fine player for Union County, leading the Lady Panthers to great success in her time in the program. The center midfielder tallied 40 goals and 50 assists (130 points), and went on to a solid career at Huntingdon College in Alabama. (445 VOTES)
