Banks County softball honored with ring ceremony

The wait is over for the Lady Leopards and coach Kelby Cronic to get their much-deserved State Championship rings. Banks County honored the softball program on January 31 between the basketball games.

The Lady Leopards capped off an historic 2019 season with a Class 2A State Championship after finishing as Runner-Up in 2018 and 3rd place in 2017. The girls went 33-3 in their dream season, claiming the Region 8-AA Championship (both regular season and tournament), and were ranked #1 in the state, as well as ranked in the top-10 in the nation under first year head coach Cronic.

Banks County appreciates the support from the community in cheering them on, providing donations to get their rings, and for the encouragement and love.
