Branson Stowe (Stephens County) and Joseph Alvarez (Lumpkin County) earn POW honors. Stowe wins the Fan Vote after taking 5,079 of the 11,749 total votes. Alvarez was the BLITZ Pick.
BRANSON STOWE – STEPHENS COUNTY
Branson Stowe completed 77% of his passes in the Stephens County win at Elbert in Week 11. The junior passed for 297 yards and 5 TD, earning his second POW award.
JOSEPH ALVAREZ – LUMPKIN COUNTY
Joseph Alvarez burst on the scene early this season, then was sidelined to an injury for a few weeks. He’s back and better than ever. The junior rushed for 162 yards and 5 TD in Lumpkin’s win over Morgan County, earning his third career POW award (one in soccer, two football).
