SAWYER DRAKE

Sawyer Drake was a go-to wideout for several years for Union County. The 2-time All-State selection posted 2,829 career receiving yards and 27 TDs, making him one of the best in state history. His yardage had him just outside the top-25 in Georgia history at the time of graduation, and his 27 TDs in the top-40. He had a career-high 1,253 yards in his senior 2019 season, and had three All-Region selections. (578 votes)

REID GILES

Reid Giles’ numbers speak for themselves. With 63 total TDs and nearly 250 career tackles, he was one of the most complete all-around players in the state for several years. The Rabun County legend registered 3,792 rushing yards and 51 TD and added 1,521 receiving yards with nine more scores. He finished with 238 tackles, six interceptions, and 20 TFL. He was the back-to-back BLITZ Player of the Year in 2024-25, and was a 3-time All-State honoree and 3-time All-Region as well. Giles went to the next level with Erskine College. (398 votes)

NOLAN MATTHEWS

Nolan Matthews was patient for his turn at RB with Lumpkin. While Mason Sullens before him was the bell-cow back, Matthews started off as a receiver before taking over as RB1 and never looking back. His totals include 3,417 rush yards and 42 TD and 730 receiving yards with nine TDs. He’d finish with well over 4,000 total yards and exactly 53 TDs. He was a speedster and shifty whether at WR, RB, or on special teams. Matthews had a pair of All-State honors and was a 3-time All-Region selection. He took his talent to the next level at Ferris State University. (139 votes – Producer’s Pass)

TRIPP NIX

Tripp Nix had a stellar 4-year career for White County. The dual threat totaled 8,627 yards and 84 TDs in his career. He passed for 6,868 yards and 46 TD, and rushed for 1,759 and 38. He was a multiple All-Region player and also earned All-State honors. (48 votes – Producer’s Pass)
