The BLITZ Tennis Players of the Week are Jack Getty (Rabun) and Azaria Junaid (Tallulah Falls).

JACK GETTY – RABUN COUNTY

Freshman 2-singles standout Jack Getty is having a big impact in his first season. In the second round win for Rabun, the Wildcats got a win from Getty over Vidalia. Getty was 12-6 in games overall in his two-set match. This is his first POW award.

AZARIA JUNAID – TALLULAH FALLS

Azaria Junaid was incredible in the first two playoff rounds. The 2-singles senior star for TFS was 2-0, going 24-5 in back-to-back straight-set wins in the playoffs, helping get the Lady Indians to the State Championship match. This is her third career POW award.
