  1. […] We typically make a case for both, with our official pick linked below. Let’s begin with the Dragons. Full stop – they must protect the football. Giving the pigskin away three times like last week won’t get it done. Zero turnovers to win this game, and we’ll say about 20-plus points at minimum. The defense has to play a clean game and keep from giving up 20-plus yard plays. North Oconee – it sounds simple, but just doing what they have been. 40-0 over Clarke Central, 41-0 over Oconee County, and 56-7 over Dalton. These are great on paper against solid teams. Jefferson is another animal completely, but you could say the same for North Oconee. OUR PICK: SEE HERE […]

  2. […] We typically make a case for both, with our official pick linked below. Let’s begin with the Wildcats. With a scoring average of 35, and allowing just over 12 per game, Rabun County is heavily favored here, and it weighs nothing whether they were at home or away. On paper, in veteran leadership, etc, Rabun County is the #4-ranked team for a reason. Just staying true to form gives them a win here. Banks County would HAVE to approach this one like last week against Cherokee Bluff – and then some. That means not caring at all about Rabun’s logo on the other side, or how much talent they have. They have to be aggressive, a little bit lucky, a lot disciplined, and score, score, score. OUR PICK: SEE HERE […]
