Brooks, Bowen earn Golfer of the Week awards
The BLITZ Golfers of the Week were named by BLITZ as Canon Brooks (Tallulah Falls) and Wesley Bowen (Commerce).
CANON BROOKS – TALLULAH FALLS
Tallulah Falls senior Canon Brooks has consistently been right at the front in each match this season. Each time, he was second by a stroke or a few. Last week, Brooks broke through with his best score at TFS with a 39 against Commerce, earning low medalist honors. He has twice been the low medalist this season. This is Brooks’ first POW award.

WESLEY BOWEN – COMMERCE
Commerce junior golfer Wesley Bowen carded a career-low recently of 39, which included 2 birdies for the Tigers. This is Bowen’s first POW award. Bowen also becomes the 100th Commerce athlete all-time to be a Player of the Week.
