Ball, Johnson earn POW awards
The BLITZ Boys Soccer Player of the Week Fan Vote winner was Austin Ball (Tallulah Falls) with 16,950 of the 36,008 total votes. BLITZ then named Chase Johnson (Jefferson) as Co-POW.

Junior Austin Ball continues his epic season. The #1-ranked TFS Indians have seen Ball collect so far 27 goals and 11 assists on the season, including last week setting the all-time goals record with 40 career goals. His 27 this season are also a school single-season record, and his lifetime 34 assists also represents the top mark. Last week for Tallulah, Ball notched 4 goals and an assist in 2 matches. This is his 2nd POW award this season and 3rd of his career.
