Hand, Tolbert take Girls Soccer POW honors
The BLITZ Fan Vote for Girls Soccer Player of the Week was Hayden Hand (Dawson County) after taking 10,263 of the 18,610 total votes. BLITZ then named Ivy Tolbert (Commerce) as Co-POW.

Top-5 ranked Dawson County got a huge outing last week from Lady Tigers’ freshman forward Hayden Hand. Hand, who now has 2 Player of the Week awards after earlier this year claiming one in cross country, tallied a hat trick with 3 goals, and added an assist.

IVY TOLBERT – COMMERCE
For the third time this year and now the 10th time in her career, Ivy Tolbert has won a Player of the Week award. The junior All-American had 14 goals and 9 assists in 3 matches played last week for the #1-ranked Lady Tigers of Commerce. Tolbert in the process eclipsed 200 career goals! This 10th POW award buts her second only to Rabun County ’22 star QB Gunner Stockton in all-time BLITZ POW awards. Stockton had 19 such awards.
