Meeks, Cruz named Habersham EMC Linemen of the Week
The Habersham EMC Linemen of the Week after Week Nine are Cody Meeks (Union County) for the O-Line, and Cesar Cruz (Rabun County) for the D-Line.
CODY MEEKS – UNION COUNTY OL
Cody Meeks was unreal in the Panthers’ clutch win over East Jackson to stay unbeaten in region play. The junior lineman had a 93% grade, and paved the way to some big plays by Caiden Tanner, giving the junior QB plenty of time to make his 3 passing TD. This is Meeks’ first individual POW award.

CESAR CRUZ – RABUN COUNTY DL
Cesar Cruz has long been the engine on the line for Rabun County. The Wildcats’ senior posted a 9-tackle effort in Rabun’s blowout win over Athens Christian. He had one tackle for loss and 2 QBHs. This is Cruz’s fifth POW award individually.
