Sophomores Burruss, Ramey claim first POW awards of 2022
The first BLITZ Player of the Week awards go to sophomore diamond stars Micah Burruss (Dawson) and Hailey Ramey (White).
MICAH BURRUSS – DAWSON COUNTY
Micah Burruss earns her first Player of the Week award after the third baseman batted .500 (going 2-for-4) in last week’s early action for Dawson County. The sophomore had a double as part of her efforts for the Lady Tigers.

Hailey Ramey opened up her 2022 season with a 3-for-6 performance at the dish, batting .500 as a result. The White County Lady Warriors standout pitcher/first baseman added a double, earning her first Player of the Week award.
