LANEY MCGEE

Laney McGee was a consistent threat in the Stephens County lineup. The third baseman/catcher (and played some great SS as well) batted .440 roughly for her stellar career for the Lady Indians. She showed power with five homers, and drove in a ridiculous 90 runs, scoring 73 as well throughout her time in Toccoa. As a sophomore, McGee hit .431 with a homer and 16 RBI. She followed it up with a .443-2-44 stat line as a junior, and .438-2-30 as a senior. (1,658 votes)

TRINITY QUEEN

Trinity Queen was a power pitcher for the Lady Panthers, guiding Union County to well over 20 wins in the circle. She nailed down five saves to boot, and pitched to the tune of a 2.15 ERA, striking out over 250 batters along the way. She earned a pair of All-Region selections, and was the ace for Union County in her time in Blairsville. (1,219 votes)

CARSON HOBBS

Talk about a special talent. Carson Hobbs might be the best hitter we have ever seen at the high school level. The Commerce star was a 3-time Region Player of the Year and 3-time All-State easy pick. A peek at the total numbers shows her worthiness of Hall of Fame – .490 average, 17 bombs, 137 RBI, 95 runs, and 45 doubles. She also found time to shine in the circle her last two seasons, going 24-7 with a 1.60 ERA and 189 strikeouts. She starred from day one on, as a freshman (.466-4-24), sophomore (.494-5-33), junior (.426-3-39), and senior (.525-5-41) at the plate was a beast. She was 10-4 with a 1.93 ERA as a junior and 14-3 with a 1.48 ERA as a senior. (947 votes)

HARLEE INGRAM

Harlee Ingram was a power hitter in the Commerce lineup, blasting 15 round-trippers and batting .385 in her career with 85 RBI, 60 runs scored, and 30 doubles. The first baseman was a playmaker for the Lady Tigers. (837 votes)

SAM VINSON

Sam Vinson was fantastic for the Lady Dragons. From stats that could be gathered, she batted over .460 in her career at Jefferson. The utility player, who since has gone on to Georgia Southern, had 15-plus homeruns and 70-plus RBI, was a two-time All-State and three-time All-Region pick. (713 votes)
