Jake Johnson has long been a candidate for weekly awards. The senior pitcher/outfielder got it done at the plate and on the bump last week for the Warriors. The White County standout batted .625 with 3 RBI, 3 runs, and a pair of doubles. He also had a walk, hit by pitch, and a sac fly. On the hill, he threw a complete game shutout, earning the win while throwing a grand total of 61 pitches. That’s averaging 8.8 pitches per inning! This is Johnson’s first POW award!
