After narrowing down our 34 Player of the Year Nominees down to 6 finalists, Dalen Gales then won the LAST FINALIST Fan Vote with 18,460 votes, edging Dawson’s Trey Harvey (14,873). All told, there were 37,547 votes logged. That brings our finalist pool to 7. The finalists are: Collin Crowder (Towns County), Malachi Dooley (Habersham Central), Dalen Gales (Jefferson), Anfernee Hanna (Tallulah Falls), Jones Harris (Lumpkin County), Connor McKay (Rabun County), and Jadon Yeh (White County). Now, the POY finalists will be voted on internally by the BLITZ Voting Panel to determine the BLITZ Player of the Year.
