Seniors McKay, Mulligan earn Boys Players of the Week

The BLITZ Boys Basketball Player of the Week Fan Vote collected 10,801 total votes, with Rabun County’s Connor McKay taking 5,916 to win the POW Fan Vote. BLITZ then named White County’s Silas Mulligan Co-POW.

Another week, another POW award for Connor McKay. The senior wing for Rabun County, who is ranked #7 in the state, averaged an insane 38.5 points and 15 boards per game over 2 contests last week. He found time to chip in 4 assists and 3 blocks per game as well. This is McKay’s 4th POW award of the season and his 9th all-time. That makes him tied for the 2nd most in BLITZ history.
