The Lady Raiders were a near .500 team last year, but found a way to the playoffs for the first time since 2013. With a great deal of talent returning this time around, what is in store for the Lady Raiders?

Head Coach: Bill Bradley, 2nd Season
2019 Record: 11-13; State Round 1; Region 4th
“Last year was the first year in the last four for this team to make the playoffs,” says coach Bradley. “We want to keep improving to be a more competitive and complete team.”
Personnel
Key Departures: Regan Hart
Key Returning Players: Preslee Hix, Kyla Quiles, Kilee Thomas, Hailey Wade, Taylor Wade, Bradyen Staten, Sadie Hawkins, Joey Handlos
Preslee Hix (.366 average, 2 HR, 17 RBI), Kyla Quiles (8-4, 2.66 ERA), Kilee Thomas (.337 average, 10 RBI), and Hailey Wade (.342 average, 14 RBI). That’s a LOT of talent. Overall, the Lady Raiders bring back EIGHT starters from last season!
Strengths & Areas of Focus
Strengths: Experience. Depth. Offense. With Hix, Thomas, and Wade returning, the lineup has a great makeup. Pitching with Quiles back is also a strength.
Focusing On: Playing as one team. You would also have to think of the fundamentals. In a very tough region, many games will come down to who makes the fewest mistakes or mental errors. Habersham needs to be on the right side of those type of games.
