Rabun’s Stockton Again Earns Pre-Season All-American Status

It’s a habit at this point. Rabun County junior QB Gunner Stockton was named a MaxPreps First Team All-American, marking the third time he’s collected the honors.

Stockton was also named the Freshman Player of the Year nationally by MaxPreps in 2018, and in 2019 was named a First-Team All-American (Sophomore) by MaxPreps. Last season, he led the Wildcats to a sixth straight region championship and a fifth consecutive quarterfinals berth. He threw for 3,473 yards and 43 TD, adding 1,126 rushing yards and another 19 TDs.

To date, Stockton has 25 known NCAA Division-I offers, including from just about every Power 5 powerhouse program. Stockton was one of 10 players to make the list from the state of Georgia.
