What a season it’s been for Tybee Denton of Banks County. Make it three Player of the Week awards after an incredible 3A State first round series.

Denton launched three homeruns while hitting .417 in the three-game set, driving in five runs and scoring three times. In the circle, the junior was 2-1 with a 2.33 ERA and 29 strikeouts.

Earlier this season, Denton had the game of the century with a perfect game in which she hit two grand slams. Denton is a huge reason why the Lady Leopards have been a front-runner not just in Region 8-AA, but in the entire classification.
