Tallulah Falls track & field excels in Rust Buster Invite

The Tallulah Falls girls track and field team finished second among seven teams, scoring 112 points while defeating Decatur, Lakeside, Stone Mountain, Berkmar, and Galloway.

Indian boys place third of nine teams, defeating Decatur, Lakeside, Washington, Stone Mountain, Berkmar, and Galloway. Though most marks were not personal records, Tallulah Falls’ performances and representation were competitive and strong.

Anna Davis was the high point scorer for the meet, winning the 100 meter hurdles, placing second in both the 300 meter hurdles and the long jump, and anchoring both relays (4×1 for fourth and coming from 50 meters back to narrowly lose the 4×4 by .2 seconds at the line).

Gabe Iluma won the pole vault with a PR 12’ 1.  Chance Bess won the discus and threw the shot a new personal best.  Madison Ball eclipsed her 400m PR while Julian Gober bettered his own 300m hurdle record.  Grey Bourlet earned the most TFS points on the boys side (19.25).
