GIRLS GOLF
SELAH ANDERSON

Selah Anderson was fantastic at Habersham Central. She was the Area Champion as a senior, and twice was inside the top-20 at state. Her 9-hole average was 37.5 and 78 across 18-holes.
ASHLEY BLACKBURN

Blackburn was a standout golfer for Habersham Central, and was the team low medalist three years. She holds the scoring records for the Lady Raiders, and advanced to the state tournament as a senior individually after averaging an 86. Blackburn played a full four seasons at Truett McConnell, and as a sophomore set the school’s one-day and two-day scoring record and was captain from sophomore through senior year.
MADISON CALDWELL

Madison Caldwell was back-to-back-to-back BLITZ Golfer of the Year from 2013-15. Just 12 days after surgery during her senior season, she captured a region title (her third) with a 77, then captured her first state championship with a 73 (winning by five strokes)! She came within one stroke of winning the championship her junior season. Caldwell starred at Western Carolina University.
CAROLINE CRAIG


Craig was a State Champion in her sophomore year, and placed 6th in her junior season as well. She helped the Lady Warriors finish in the top-5 in 3 straight seasons, and had a scoring average around 72. Craig was highly recruited and chose to play at UGA while holding several offers. Craig was a 2-time BLITZ Golfer of the Year.
CATIE CRAIG

From day one, it was clear not many around could compete with Catie Craig. She won a state championship as just a freshman, was twice a state runner-up, and won a region title as well as finishing a runner-up once. The top-5 ranked golfer in the state of Georgia averaged a 36.5 for her career. She led the Lady Warriors to a team State Championship as a senior, herself coming in Runner-Up in that 2021 season. She was named BLITZ Golfer of the Year all 4 years of her career, and went on to golf at Western Kentucky.
CAMERON FORD

Cameron Ford holds just about every school record at Commerce, including a 41.53 scoring average for a career. She is a 3-time top-10 finisher at state, twice finishing in the top 5. She also has the same marks at Area.
CARA GOWDER

Gowder was a standout golfer at Banks County, and was named 2012 BLITZ Golfer of the Year as a junior. She averaged a 79 that season, and finished 7th at state with an 82. That came on the heels of a region runner-up finish (80). Gowder went on to play golf at Young Harris for three seasons.
BRINSON HALL

Brinson Hall averaged 43.21 for her career, and was a 3-time state top-10 finisher who helped guide her TFS team to a State Runner-Up finish in 2021. Hall and teammate Maggie Jackson took turns breaking and setting every school record. She was a 2-time Area Runner-Up, and went on to play golf at Troy University.
MAGGIE JACKSON

Maggie Jackson had a sensational career, evidenced by her 41.06 scoring average (9-hole). She won double-digit tournaments, placed in the top 10 at state twice (including 3rd overall in 2021 as a senior), was a 2-time Area Champion, and led her TFS team to a State Runner-Up finish. Jackson and teammate Brinson Hall took turns breaking and setting every school record. She was named BLITZ Golfer of the Year in 2021. She went on to play at Wofford College.
CANDLER KIMSEY

Kimsey was a solid golfer for the Lady Warriors, helping lay the foundation for what is now one of the top programs in the state. She was named all-region second team in her 2013 season. As a senior in 2014, she was named to the first team all-region and was region runner-up. Kimsey had an excellent career at Young Harris, averaging 78.9 her senior year, 78.6 as a junior, 82.8 as a sophomore and 86.4 as a freshman. She had five top-10 finishes and two top-5, and was named to the Peach Belt All-Conference Second Team in 2018.
KARSON KIMSEY

Kimsey was an All-State golfer who helped build the White County program into a powerhouse. She was an Area Runner-Up, and finished 14th in the state tournament. Kimsey went on to play at Missouri University of Science and Technology.
ADDIE MANEY

You can argue that no girl has had the impact on Habersham Central Lady Raider golf the way Addie Maney has. There have been others to blaze the path, but Maney each year was a go-to leader. With 10-plus low medalist finishes, she finished top-20 in the state three times, including 11th as a senior in 2025, 14th in 2023, and 18th in 2024. Even as a freshman, she was 24th. She won the Area Championship individually as a senior, and held an 80 average across 18. She was 3rd at Area her sophomore year, 9th as a junior, and 15th her freshman campaign.
MCKENZIE MCREE

McKenzie McRee was a very reliable leader for Commerce golf, and three times finished in the top 15 at state, including twice in the top 10. She was a one-time area runner-up, and annually led the Lady Tigers to state. Her junior year saw her finish as the runner-up in area play, and then finish third at state. Her shooting average consistently remained in the low 80s.
SYDNEY MORGAN

Sydney Morgan was a standout for the Dawson County Lady Tigers. She was the top golfer on the team for several seasons, and won an Area Championship as a junior in dramatic fashion in a one-hole playoff. Morgan was 4th at Area as a senior, and 3 times was top-5 in the Area. At state, Morgan was inside the top-15 twice, including coming in 13th in 2018 after being 4th following the first day of the tournament.
KATIE GRACE RANDALL

Katie Grace Randall was a star since her freshman year at Stephens County. That first season in 2019, she was 8th at area and 36th at state. After the 2020 season was wiped away due to COVID-19, she was 5th at area and 11th at state in her junior year. She saved the best for last, claiming the Area Championship and came in 7th at state in her final go-around. Her 9-hole average was 40, and 81 across 18-holes.
MORGAN RYLEE

Morgan Rylee was one of the state’s top golfers while playing at Banks County. The two-time All-State selection finished in the top 10 individually as a freshman while guiding the Lady Leopards to a 3rd-place finish. She was All-Region three times, and was the region runner-up as a senior, and led her team to state all four years. Rylee played a solid career at the University of North Georgia.
MOLLY VINSON

Vinson was a 3-time All-Region pick, and performed very well each time she repped Rabun County at state. All 3 times, she finished in the top 20, including a 7th place finish. Her scoring average hovered around 78. She went on to play golf at Young Harris College.
